Martin 1954 00-28 G conversion
Lovingly converted from Classical to Steel-String by ex-Martin guitar-wizard, Frank Finocchio. New X-braced Alpine Spruce soundboard, Honduras mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and pre-war-style through-saddle bridge, Waverly tuners, pre-war-style 'notched-square' fingerboard markers, heart-abalone rosette and top binding.
This guitar is a CANNON! The conversion brings the bridge down to the center of the lower bout, this being the optimum place for the bridge to drive the top.
A truly astounding Brazilian rosewood b/s fingerstyle guitar.
Comes with pre-war-style tweed HSC.

Guitars are, at present, at my home in Germany
You have to see this guitar up close to appreciate the stunning burl-grain of the Koa. I have never, ever, seen any wood like it. This guitar has a projection and sustain like no other I have ever owned - and I've owned some exceptional guitars!
Everything about this guitar is unique, from the delightful scrimshaw on the heel-cap, the abalone rosette and back-strip, to the gold-plated Waverly tuners.
